The International Association of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology (IATDMCT) is a global organisation dedicated to advancing the science and practice of therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacogenomics, and clinical toxicology.
Its members, who are clinicians, scientists, and healthcare professionals, work collaboratively to improve patient care through evidence-based research, education, and international knowledge-sharing. As a respected voice in its field, IATDMCT provides a vital platform for the exchange of ideas, best practices, and innovations that enhance clinical outcomes worldwide.
The Challenge
IATDMCT’s existing website no longer reflected the professionalism, scale, or impact of the organisation. It had become difficult to navigate, especially for a global audience of scientists and clinicians accessing resources and membership content from different devices and regions. The site structure lacked clarity, and key information, like events, publications, and member resources, was hard to find.
The association needed a modern, accessible platform that could better serve its members while clearly communicating its mission to the wider scientific community. They wanted to streamline content management, introduce a secure member area, and improve user experience across all touchpoints.
How We Helped
We worked with IATDMCT to completely reimagine their digital presence, beginning with a detailed discovery phase to understand the needs of their members and stakeholders. From there, we designed a new website architecture that simplified navigation and prioritised ease of access to key content such as conferences, publications, and educational materials.
The new site, developed in WordPress, provides a flexible, user-friendly CMS that allows the IATDMCT team to manage content and member information efficiently. We also built the foundations for a secure members’ area, enabling future functionality such as personalised profiles and exclusive access to professional resources. Throughout the design, we placed strong emphasis on accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring the platform could reach and serve a truly global audience.
The result is a modern, intuitive, and visually engaging website that reinforces IATDMCT’s position as a leader in its field; a digital home that supports collaboration, promotes education, and connects a worldwide network of experts.
