G2V Group – Aligning Multi-Brand Recruitment Websites Through Long-Term Partnership
The Client
G2V Group is an international recruitment organisation operating multiple specialist brands, including G2 Recruitment, Vivid Resourcing, and Lumicity.
Each brand serves different markets and regions, but all share a need for high-performing recruitment websites that support job search, candidate applications, and ongoing business growth.
We’ve partnered with G2V Group over a number of years, working closely with their internal teams to build, align, and continuously improve their websites. Rather than a one-off project, this has been an evolving collaboration focused on creating consistency across brands, improving technical performance, and adapting each site as business requirements changed.
The Challenge
As G2V Group expanded and developed its individual brands, their websites had been built at different times and using different systems. This created several challenges:
Disconnected platforms and inconsistent user experience
Each brand site had its own structure and technical approach, making it harder to maintain consistency across the group. From content management to job search functionality, processes varied between sites — increasing complexity for both users and internal teams.
Complex recruitment job integrations using third-party connectors
Originally, the group’s websites pulled job listings through a third-party relay system provided by Broadbean.
While Broadbean enabled job data to be fed into the websites, this setup:
- Added a layer of complexity which means that small changes took a long time to implement
- Limited flexibility in how job data could be customised and displayed
- Made it harder to optimise performance and user experience
- Reduced control over filtering, editing, and presentation
Limited control over job data and presentation
Relying on intermediary systems meant the team had less control over how job information was structured, filtered, edited, and displayed on each website. This restricted opportunities to improve UX, refine search filters, and optimise conversion.
Ongoing business evolution
As G2V Group’s teams grew internationally, their needs changed. New functionality was regularly required, from improving job filtering to adjusting application handling and supporting different internal workflows. The websites needed to evolve continuously rather than remain static builds.



How We Helped
Our approach focused on building a long-term technical partnership with G2V Group, steadily aligning all three brand sites while introducing scalable systems that could grow with the business.
Rather than rebuilding everything at once, we worked collaboratively; improving each site over time, standardising where it made sense, and respecting legacy systems where changing them would have caused unnecessary disruption.
Key elements of the solution included:
Moving from Broadbean to a direct Bullhorn API integration
We replaced the Broadbean relay system with a bespoke integration to the Bullhorn API, via Bullhorn.
This removed the unnecessary “middleman” and gave G2V Group full control over their job data.
Benefits included:
- Direct access to live job data from Bullhorn
- Faster, cleaner data flow
- Greater flexibility in job filtering and display
- Easier enhancements and scalability
- Improved performance across all three sites
All three brand websites now use this unified integration model, creating consistency across the group’s digital platforms.
Bespoke job functionality for enhanced user experience
For G2 Recruitment, we implemented a bespoke job system built directly into the website, allowing:
- Advanced filtering options
- Greater control over job presentation
- A smoother candidate search experience
This custom approach provided far more flexibility than off-the-shelf plugins and allowed ongoing UX improvements.
Consistency with pragmatism for legacy systems
For Vivid Resourcing we developed a full rebuild whilst retaining the existing job manager plugin to avoid unnecessary scope increase. The backend integration was aligned with the new direct Bullhorn connection, ensuring consistency in data flow across the group while keeping the project efficient.
A full rebuild for Lumicity
Lumicity was delivered as a complete rebuild using supplied designs, with backend functionality aligned to the group-wide integration approach.
This ensured:
- A modern, high-performing front end
- Consistency with shared technical foundations
- A scalable platform ready for future growth
Ongoing collaboration and continuous improvement
Beyond the initial builds and integrations, we continue to act as G2V Group’s technical partner.
This includes:
- Supporting internal teams with content blocks and layouts
- Developing new functionality as requirements evolve
- Refining job search and filtering over time
- Optimising performance and usability
When internal teams hit technical limitations, we created custom solutions, ensuring the websites remained flexible and easy to manage.
